A personal health budget is an amount of money to support someone’s health and wellbeing needs, which is planned and agreed between the individual or their representative, and the local clinical commissioning group (CCG).

The following people in Gloucestershire may be offered a personal health budget, in line with Government ‘right to have’ legislation:

Clinicians may also offer personal health budgets to others that they feel may benefit from the additional flexibility and control, where statutory and community services are unable to meet this need.
