Standards of Business Conduct

Standards of Business Conduct are the standards set and expected of staff who work in the public sector in order to ensure that they operate with integrity, openness and honesty and are accountable to the public for the actions that they take on behalf of the CCG.

The CCG has a Standards of Business Conduct Policy sets out what is expected of Governing Body members, staff and member practices covering the following issues in addition to conflicts of interest management:

  • the operation of the CCG’s Governing Body
  • procurement of services
  • commercial sponsorship
  • the acceptance of gifts and hospitality
  • private practice, sponsored events and secondary employment
