Key Areas of Responsibility |
---|
Helen Goodey is strongly committed to the sustainability and transformation of General Practice and has worked in a number of commissioning and strategic leadership roles across England and Wales, including national policy development groups. She is responsible for ensuring the CCG delivers its co-commissioning delegated responsibilities and the development of Gloucestershire’s Primary Care Networks and Integrated Locality Partnerships to deliver the ambitions set out in the NHS 10 Year Plan. |
Experience |
Helen has been in Gloucestershire since 2012, working closely with CCG clinical leaders to develop GP membership engagement and the locality commissioning structure and agenda. This has helped Gloucestershire practices to be well prepared in their clusters to develop into Primary Care Networks. Working closely with key stakeholders and partners, she is an ardent advocate of integrated place-based care working around patient populations to improve quality and deliver joined up care for patients, closer to home. Helen is currently a member of the NHSCC Primary Care Stakeholders Group, chaired by Dr Graham Jackson, the NHS Primary Care Delivery Operations Group, chaired by Dr David Geddes, representing NHSCC and Gloucestershire CCG, and also sits on the NHSE ICS Primary Care Group. |
