Our Graduate Scheme spans two years and offers candidates action-based learning opportunities with like-minded peers, professional development and hands-on management training.

The scheme will ensure successful applicants obtain an extensive understanding of the county’s health and care system and the roles of many people who work within it.

Candidates will be aligned to one of our five key directorates, enabling them to become a fully integrated team member.  We will also provide lots of opportunities to develop learning and understanding across the whole organisation.  All our trainees will be based at the same workplace, so there will be lots of opportunity to work both individually and together on specific projects.  Our aim is to ensure that by the end of the scheme, trainees have an extensive understanding of the health and care system, and their own skills will have grown and developed as an individual.

During their time on the scheme, trainees will be aligned with one of the following directorates:

  • Transformation & Service Re-design
  • Commissioning & Implementation
  • Nursing & Quality
  • Integration
  • Locality Development & Primary Care

We will provide a range of learning and development opportunities that will include:
