A review of community health and care services in the Forest of Dean began towards the end of 2015, with arrangements in place to ensure an inclusive approach is taken. The review involves developing a plan for high quality and affordable community health and care services with Forest of Dean residents, which meets their needs now and in the future.

We are currently working to identify the challenges and opportunities for health services and community support in the Forest of Dean. An assessment of the health and social care needs of local people is being undertaken to give us a clearer understanding of the anticipated demand for care and services into the future, based on things like population growth, people’s health and advances in technology.

These webpages will be regularly updated to reflect progress with the review and provide information about how you can contribute to our work.

More detailed information is included in our briefing note and overview. You can contribute to the review by providing feedback via this short questionnaire.
