Gloucestershire Maternity Voices Partnership (GMVP) is a group of local parent representatives and health professionals which advises the NHS in Gloucestershire on the care provided to women, their partners and their babies, during pregnancy, birth and during the early days after the baby’s arrival. Our role is to ensure that the views and experiences of people who use local maternity services are listened to and acted upon to continually review and develop the services provided in the county.

GMVP works together with the local health and care providers and is supported by NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group to help shape and develop maternity services across Gloucestershire.

GMVP Chair, Emma Rawlinson, is always looking to recruit volunteers and build the team to support our priorities for 2020.  We hope that our volunteers will help us ensure feedback from women and their families informs our plans and service developments. You can find out more about the GMVP and how to join us by visiting the Gloucestershire Maternity Voices Partnership website.

GMVP have a very active on Facebook  and Instagram which provides information, support and an opportunity for people to give feedback and have their say on how we provide maternity services in Gloucestershire. GMVP run a range of events and also host a series of  live ‘ask the expert’ chats.
